Bow Bells

Syn:

 ARS Rating:  7.8

 Class:   Shrub (English)

 Date:  1994

 Breeder:  Austin, England

Blooms:  Double., 15 petals.  The blooms are cupped, like bells and occur in clusters.

Bloom Frequency:  Heavy flush in spring, repeats during the summer, then another heavy flush in the fall.

 Color:  Deep pink.

Fragrance:  Fragrant.

 Thorns:  Has thorns.

 Approximate Height:  5’ x 3’

Description and Care:  Foliage plentiful, mid-green and the bush is fairly full.   It will probably  require pruning to keep it within bounds.   It likes to grow straight up and produce clusters of flowers at the top, so you may need to trim it down.   This is one of my favorite roses because of the pretty tulip-shaped roses.  There are not too many roses with this unique shape and it is well worth growing.

Comments:  This is an extremely easy rose to grow and will survive with organic gardening methods.
